Here's Just A Flavour Of What We Are All About Quality, Service and Reputation In the early 60s my Grandfather Douglas Gorman started his Fish Bar in Newcastle. Even from those early days he built up a reputation for outstanding quality fish and chips and a friendly service for his customers. Over the years the business grew to an amazing 4 shops dotted around the west end of Newcastle. 12 years ago, my father (also called Douglas) took over the business in Fenham, carried on the family tradition of quality and service and the business became renowned throughout the whole of Newcastle, revered and admired by others, Often copied but never battered!" as the saying goes. After 10 years I persuaded my dad to let me take the reins.
