CUSTOMERS AT THE HEART OF HEALTH FORMULA

“IF YOU want a franchise that you can believe in, then WPA could be the one for you,” said Berkeley Harris, a former franchisee who now heads up the franchise team at health insurance firm WPA.


“Don’t come to us if you simply want to get rich quick, because our policy is to put the customer before the pound,” he added.


Keith Iliffe, 54, has been running the WPA franchise for Warwick and Leamington Spa for three years.


He first discovered WPA at an exhibition while he was looking for a new business opportunity. Although he had no previous experience of financial services, he went along to an open day with his wife and spoke to other franchisees before deciding to take the plunge.


He said: “Don't be daunted by the idea of selling medical insurance. You are given excellent initial and ongoing training, and there is a back-up team on hand if you need to speak to them about anything.”
