Frank Newsome returned to his hometown of Wrexham to work as a branch manager for a major financial services provider, only to be made redundant when a merger closed the branch office.

He said: "I wanted to stay in Wrexham and I needed to assess my future. I felt confident working with people and customer relationship development, so I took my time looking at what Oscar Pet Foods had to offer. I spoke to other franchisees and customers, which helped me to confirm what I had already considered to be a professional organisation, offering a quality product and a realistic business plan."
