Using an innovative glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) garage door skin that is attached to an existing garage door, their role is to transform customers’ old and unsightly garage doors without replacing them, on a next day installation basis.

Not only are they offering a service to customers that is faster and greener, and saves on costs and annual maintenance, they can run their business from home on a full time or part time basis.

Business development director Damian Webb said: “People assume that they will need a van and large storage facilities to run this business, but because they are offering a next day installation service, they don’t need either.”

Garage Door Restore is proving popular with individuals and with existing companies looking for an add on business.

“Because it is so flexible, people can choose to run the business alongside their full time job, run it as their main business, or take a management role and employ others to carry out the installations,” explained Mr Webb.
