HAVING run her own Music for Health franchise for the last six years, Jenny Murphy says she never realised that earning a living could be so much fun.
Now in its eighth year, Music for Health has more than 120 franchises owned by people who run the company’s music-based workshops all over the country.
A former nurse who had experience of working with the elderly, Ms Murphy had seen at first hand the benefits that the Music for Health group sessions could bring to their lives. She decided to invest in a Music for Health franchise and recruited her friend Tessa Porter, also a nurse, to work with her.
She said: “This is a brilliant opportunity to be your own boss and to be part of a trusted and respected company. It also fits perfectly around other commitments.”
Franchise opportunities are available to people of all ages and backgrounds, and anyone who is interested is welcome to attend a Music for Health open afternoon on Sunday, January 31, in Chichester where they can meet the team and find out more about joining the network.
