NEW Year is a peak time for the diet and fitness industry as people strive to get in shape after the festive season.
Business is booming at Rosemary Conley Diet and Fitness Clubs (RCDFC),which is looking to expand its operations around the UK by recruiting new franchisees who enjoy exercise and want to run their own business.
Launched 17 years ago, RCDFC is the only national slimming organisation to offer dietary advice and exercise in the same class. The company has twice been named British Franchise Association (bfa) Franchisor of the Year, in 2005 and 2002, while Sarah Skelton, one of RCDFC’s 180 franchisees, was a finalist in the 2009 bfa Franchisee of the Year Awards.
Franchisees receive training to receive an Oxford Cambridge Royal Society of Arts Level 2 certificate in fitness instruction and a certificate in applied nutrition and weight management, which is accredited by the University College Chester.
There is an opportunity to find out more about the business opportunity at the next RCDFC open days at Quorn House in Leicestershire on January 29 and March 26.
