TruGreen’s technical team say that a healthy lawn can help to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, while 2,500 square feet of lawn will produce enough oxygen for a family of four.

A row of eight houses with front lawns can have the cooling effect of 70 tons of air conditioning, so when the pavement temperature is 100 degrees, the adjacent turf will remain closer to 75 degrees.
