SOME businesses seem to thrive in any economic climate even in recession.
And that has certainly been the case for commercial cleaning franchise Dublcheck, where turnover is up by ten per cent.
Founder and Chairman Carol Stewart-Gill said: “Commercial cleaning is one of the best industries to join as a franchise owner, because it’s a market that is more robust and recession resistant than most others due to the fact the build-up of dirt never stops and every building, office and shop needs regular cleaning.”
Dublcheck franchise owners don’t need to be able to sell because the company finds business for them, and they know exactly what turnover they will achieve.
Ms Stewart-Gill added: “You can start with the minimum turnover of £14,000 per annum if you want start small and run your business hands on, or you can invest at a turnover level of up to £500,000 per annum if you want to run a management business.”
Franchise owner Graham Hey says he has increased his turnover by 30 per cent in the last 12 months.
