IT’S never too late to make a fresh start and enjoy a rewarding career.
That is exactly what Sally and Peter Sandon did six years ago when they took on the Worthing-based Music for Health franchise; a move described by the couple as the best decision they ever made.
“Before I discovered Music for Health, I was stuck in an office, but as I am naturally a people person, it was driving me a bit mad. However, at 54 I thought I might be too old to find an interesting job,” said Mrs Sandon.
Music for Health’ provides unique, interactive, holistic, music-based workshops, working with people between the ages of 16 and 109 years in care homes of all types, day centres, and hospices.
The workshops are designed to provide the best possible help for every person taking part, regardless of the label that life has given them.
Mr Sandon, a former GP who took early retirement, added: “A Music for Health franchise is more than just a business; it offers a new way of life.
