ASPRAY held its eighth annual conference at the end of last month, reflecting on a year of success and looking ahead to an exciting future.
A specialist in project managing property insurance claims and repair work caused by the likes of storms, burst pipes, accidental damage or fire and floods, the company used the two-day event, which took place at Shrigley Hall in Cheshire, to focus on the successes of the first year of its five-year business plan, which had been unveiled at the 2010 conference in London.
Among the key announcements came the news that in 2011 turnover had increased by 47 per cent and nine new franchises had begun operating, bringing the total in the UK and Ireland to over 60.
In addition Aspray appointed a new head of sales and marketing in September who was already forging excellent partnerships within the insurance industry.
Workshops and advice clinics were included in the agenda, giving everyone who attended a chance to have their say while also getting any personal help they required.
The highlight of the event was the first Aspray awards evening which recognised those franchisees who were well organised, enthusiastic and demonstrated exceptional project management skills and the best performing franchisees in the business.
