Harry Waugh runs an Urban Planters interior landscaping business and was behind the transformation of a lightwell in The makeover included troughs and trellis work planted with shrubs and bamboo in charcoal pots, set off by round tables and parasols. His efforts won an Urban Planters’ company award and the firm wants to recruit more franchisees with flair. There are still territories available - and limited opportunities to buy ready-made businesses. Potential franchisees must invest £35,000 and have bank support for working capital. Plant knowledge is not required as full training is given.
