Experts on hand at the exhibition will include representatives from a number of high street banks, the British Franchise Association (bfa), and leading accountants and solicitors, who can advise on the practical issues of franchising, such as raising the finance and how to handle legal contracts.
The exhibition will also feature a number of specially designed business advice zones. The Franchisee Forum enables visitors to question and network with existing franchisees while the Exhibitor Presentation Theatre will help visitors to gain insight from founders of leading franchise brands into the ideas and thoughts behind their business concepts.
In addition, the bfa will be running franchise seminars across both days of the event, providing help to those new to franchising and explaining what they should expect when they become a franchisee or franchisor.
Further specialist advice will also be on hand from successful female entrepreneurs as part of the Women in Franchising Zone, where speakers include Josephine Fairley, co-founder of Green & Black’s and Chris Ash, Group Business Development Manager, while a successful Rosemary Conley Diet and Fitness Clubs franchisee, will offer specialist advice, support and ideas for any women considering a career in franchising.
Lara Boyle, joint founder of Beauty & the Bib, designers of bespoke baby bibs and Jessica Huie, founder of Colorblind Cards, a multicultural greeting card company, will also be sharing their business experiences.
Running alongside the National Franchise Exhibition is the Growing Your Own Business Exhibition & Conference, featuring leading specialists in small business management who can offer solutions to help businesses increase their efficiency and, most importantly, improve their profitability and develop sustainable growth.
