First Class Learning (FCL) offers Maths and English study programmes for children aged between four and 16 through its growing network of after school education centres operated by their franchisees, or centre managers.

Unlike other after school education providers, the FCL programmes have been specifically designed for the UK and meet the learning objectives of the National Curriculum.

No previous teaching experience is necessary to run a FCL centre; however candidates need to have an academic background, ideally educated to degree level, a sound grasp of Maths and English and an excellent rapport with children.

FCL after school classes are usually held in local community premises and church halls, but there is scope for expansion as a number of primary schools are now incorporating FCL study programmes into their regular classes.

Full training is provided and franchisees enjoy excellent ongoing support, both from central FCL and from other franchisees in the rapidly expanding network.
