Researching franchise opportunities on the internet he discovered car valeting franchise Autosheen. He was impressed by the professionalism of the business, the company’s 25 year track record, and the opportunity for franchisees to secure revenue from major national accounts.

Mr O’Rourke said: “Having the reassurance and support of an established, successful business behind me was an important consideration.”

He admits that the first few months were hard work, and says he has become increasingly busy, but since joining Autosheen he also feels much happier and looks forward to going to work.

“In my previous job I was making up to 90 deliveries in a single day and constantly under pressure. Now I work fewer hours and earn more money and feel my life is my own again. I love the freedom but most of all, I love being my own boss,” he added.
